Wondering if there is a specific write up on how to convert a base bb6 h22a to have the ATTS system, whether that’s to swap a SH tranny and plumb in the lines, however the oil filter would be in the way apparently.

This is 101% not worth doing, you would need first a Complete Type SH transmission AND Engine(base engine won’t work) the subframe, spindles, control arms, radius rods, traction bar, harness, steering column, wiring for the steering column, multiple oil and coolant lines, oil cooler, Ecu(s) and 1000x more stuff than that, the ATTS uses so much stuff that the base doesn’t have, it needs sensors on the steering and stuff and multiple Ecu’s that it uses to activate the ATTS in specific situations. If you want Atts just sell your car and buy a Type SH model, you would spend twice the amount of a car trying to convert it. Hell, most people WITH Type SH’s don’t even have working atts anymore lol. Not trying to dream crush but just letting you know some facts.

The base block isn't drilled to support the atts the oil filter is in the wrong spot too. I did a sh to base conversion only had to get rid of the atts and buy an intermediate shaft or half shaft worked out good. And honestly I can't even tell a difference
