so i was backing out of my girlfriends house and i usually grind a very little bit(exhaust) but tonight i lost the drop and went a little too fast and hit really hard.
now at about 2000 rpms it sounds really bad. a lot worse than it used to sound. it doesn't sound any different at any other rpms, just about 2000 to maybe 2300/2400. never really checked what it sounded like at WOT but i was prettly high and it sounded fine.(max rpm-4500 to 5000)
so my question is this: are there any known weak spots on the apexi N1 cat back system? or where could i have broken something at?
i looked at it a little in the dark with a flashlight but didn't see anything out of the ordinary but like i said it was dark.
the whole set up is stock exhaust manifold to a megan hi flow cat( basically a straight through cat) to the N1. so where would be the best place to check thouroughly?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
