4WS tool

Need a 4ws tool

let me know

Thanks

Stephan
I only have one tool left. When this tool is gone there will be a 4 to 6 week delay in getting others made. In addition, the cost of manufacture has gone up about 10%. So, if you need this and want it, I suggest you jump on it immediately.

I sent you a private email with further information. Thank you for supporting this group buy.

I just wanted to say that after several years of having this tool, I was finally able to put it to good use when I installed a 4ws system on another 3rd gen. It was invaluable in keeping the rear rack centered while installing all the parts. Thanks for making this for the community Mike!

Even with the 4WS tool in hand, a lot of alignment shops look at you and say, "Duh". Even at one Honda dealership, they did not know what the tool was for when i handed it to the "alignment Specialist"! So it is important that the car owner knows what it's for and how to use it. I appreciate your gratitude, but it is my pleasure to provide for the community. Thanks Mike

My local alignment shop actually has the Honda locking pin so I didn't need to bring mine. But I did have to tell him how to do the alignment. When I installed the 4ws system I neglected to correctly clock the steering wheel, which threw him off. Normally they center the steering wheel and lock it into that position. That threw both racks off, and he was having trouble getting things lined up. He struggled with it for almost an hour. Even called tech support for the new alignment rack the shop just bought. Tech support told him to lower the lift, back the car out of the bay, and tell me he can't align it. Thankfully he didn't take that advice LOL. Because the front and rear racks were centered to each other (thanks to using your tool), I told him to disregard the steering wheel position. Center the rear rack and lock it into position. Align all four wheels. Then re-clock the steering wheel. 15 minutes later I was driving my 4ws lude. And he didn't charge me for the alignment because I had told him how to do it. Alignment seems to be spot on when I took it for it's first run in the twisties.

lol!!!! I had the same issue down in Puyallup FireStone. The guy was confused when I gave him the tool. I was standing outside watching his bay.
Then for some reason he could not align the rear with the front.

Then he swallowed some humble pie, and walked up to me and asked me how to use the tool.
I then showed him, and once he got the rear rack centered he was able to move forward....lol but I still had to pay the $99 for the alignment. smh

Try sending him a private message. He may respond quicker since it has only been a month since he was on. New year's eve to be precise.
