I'm on my research about the legend calipers and this
Acura rl shows up and say that most civic using them for upgrade but need a custom mount ...
It's a 4 piston so I know this is a nice upgrade
But there is that one part some of us can't do
the modified bracket ...

Does anyone try or search about this calipers for 3rd gen?

It's something I've been toying with looking at as we have a 07 RL.

When I have time and both cars in the workshop I'll be having a look to see how viable it is.

I guess he is saying that because it has more pistons. But will the cost be worth it?

I wanted his reasons before saying any more.
I could explain the pros and cons but it's better if we have a starting point ;-)

sorry but that's not how you should look at upgrading brakes.
although it is the common way as 'bigger is better' right?
Well no it's not right.

Yes the RL calipers are better than the NSX/Legend calipers. Are they more suitable for your use? I very much doubt it tbh.
They have more pistons, they are lighter, they will give more braking force & better modulation. They will look 'cool'.
They cost more, they will require much more work to fit, they will need at least 17" wheels for clearance, they may need a disc/rotor that isn't easily available. You may need a master cylinder that might be hard to get/hard to fit/expensive. And they will almost certainly mean that you have got the front of the car over-braked by quite some margin. Meaning brake balance has gone to shit.

But it still depends on the exact reason for doing it.
