What is the redline for the 1991 Si? Look at the redline on this guy:
craigslist posting

Now, compare that to the redline marking on another Prelude....
6500rpm

So what is the redline supposed to be?

Hmmm perhaps an oversight. That is a 2.0 Si, would that make the difference?

In the picture are my JDM Si4WS with the B20A motor (top) and my USDM Si 4WS with the B21A motor (bottom).

Both have the 6500k redline.

Apologies, I was reading your responses and was wondering if I had confused everybody in my posting Turns out my links were all wrong, and that the craigslist posting is actually deleted now.

I've found an ebay posting with a gauge cluster that shows a 6750RPM redline. Not that I'm trying to extract every last rev from the engine, but just curious how some cars have this redline.

My guess is that it's an Auto 2.0Si engine that "deserves" that redline.
