OK! The same car is back on ebay after no one bid the minimum $299 bid back in April. It's in Missouri and the auction ends on June 17th.

The new starting bid is only $199 and, if the last auction was any indication, one might even be able to get it near that price.

This is not my car nor do I know the seller.

It might be nice for parts or to rebuild. You would have to tow it.

Here's the new link:

*** Updated 4/29/06 Auction Ended with no bidders ***

I was doing a search for Prelude parts and I stumbled across this just-listed ad on ebay. It's a non-running 1986 Prelude parts car with a $399 "Buy it Now" price. There's no reserve so if no one else bids it would sell for the minimum price of $299.

Here's the auction:

It's in Missouri and it's not running so it would have to be towed or trailered. But it might be a good deal for someone that lived nearby that wanted to rebuild it or pull parts from it. From the photos it looks to be in pretty good shape.

I initially had an irrational urge to buy it but I'm on the west coast. ;-)

It was not car nor my auction but it was for the entire car. The auction ended and no one bid on it so it would have sold for the minimum bid of $299.
