i dont think it is going to be the rods that fail first
i bet it is the pistons that fail,,,,,if you do decided on a 150shot
i suggest a full dyno tune on spry for sure along w all the other
safety things!!!

Well I think that he is only using rods and stock sleeves that he is asking. Is question is vauge. It lacks what he is actually building.

Forgot to mention what his actual build is. Probally mahle since he is talking about stock sleeves

he wants to run a stock sleeve and rod motor with mahle drop in pistons to bring him from the stock like 10.4:1 down to like 10.0:1 then a lil lower with a thicker head gasket.acl race bearings and arp thru out the motor.new oem valves supertech springs and retainers stage 1 cams.some intake mani mods some bigger injectors and a tune......what would yall do to modify this motor a little if at all to safe as possble to run a 150 direct port for a decent amount of time.i got you drae haha also drae can i get your 50 shot? :)
