Hello, i have a really frustrating problem with brakes. The car had an alingment and the brakes were tested on a stand. The results showed that the front brakes are really good, but the rear brakes are very weak. I have been bleeding them a lot since then and the problem persists- front wheels...

I'm currently in the process of changing out my brakes but I'm having a hard time taking my rear rotors off. It appears that the gold colored cap is preventing me from taking it off completely. Does anyone know how I can take it off? Or is there an easier way to take off the rotor. Thanks.

I have an 86 DX and I need a new brake caliper and rotor for the left rear side and theres a 1st gen integra at a junk yard near me that still has all sides intact. I've read a bunch of posts about people interchanging the front brakes (which I've been considering doing) but I'm wondering if...

Got a -92 lude and need to know if rear brakes are Nissin or Akebono, I know my fronts are Akebono since I bought Nissin install clips for them and they didn't fit (and ofc can't find new Akebono clips online.) but have no idea about the rears. Buying new rotors is a pain in the ass. I'm only...

Hey guys, So I've got a 2001 prelude and everything was going nice and smooth until the weather started getting a little chillier. I recently started noticing that when I press the brakes hard enough, they'll make a nice clunk sound, then once I let off and start accelerating the car will clunk...

Hi All, Have an 86 lx in which I just replaced the master cylinder and booster and have plenty of pad left. I've bled them until, when not moving, they are tight. I've run all the tests in the big shop manual and it passes them all- all cylinders are fine, booster and master are fine, and there...

Hey folks, I picked up my 3rd gen prelude on sunday (started a build thread on here, maybe you've seen it?) Anyway, the ALB light is on on the dash, what could be causing this? I'm not used to Hondas so any info would be great :D Cheers

As a rule of thumb I try to avoid autozone replacement parts for my vehicle. With the brake pads though, I couldn't really see a legitimate reason to go with something else for DD uses. At about $50 for the front pad set, I feel they're more than reasonable for what you get. They're ceramic, so...

Hey ya'll, So I was due to change my brake fluid and I also wanted to repaint my calipers, so I took all of my brakes off the car. After getting them back on and adjusted properly, I got my girlfriend to help bleed them (yeah, that's right :p). That all went fine, got plenty of air bubbles...

Hey everyone. Yet another post in the fail that is my attempt at working on my car. So, my brakes were damn low and I knew it was time to replace them (as this has never been done in the 8 years or so of having the car...). I bought new pads/rotors, removed the others, installed the new - now...
