History
Bought in April 2017 as wife's anniversary gift to me. Slowly been restoring, mostly cosmetic issues. Car apparently had hit a deer in previous life; I replaced bent fender and touched up some surface rust on hood. (I'll see if I can find the original purchase pics later) Has over 210k, typical oil leaks, but still strong. Drive to work daily. Culmination of past 3 years is beautiful 2020 Type R Boost Blue Pearl paint job! I'm happy with it. Not perfect by any means, but looks like a brand new car now. Just those pesky oil leaks.....
Used this forum over the past few years for some projects. Attempted to tackle the oil leak issue using the popular thread, and successfully modded my clock to the retro push button!
Modifications
Drivetrain
Stock. Aftermarket Injen intake. Wrinkle red painted valve cover (now disappointingly flaking off). NGK plugs.
Interior
Recaro style seats. Red like type Rs of the past. Always wanted this mod.
Exterior
Boost Blue Pearl!!! Red H badges. Si trunk badge. Stock rear spoiler with lip. Spoon front spoiler. Graphite Gray stock rims with red H center caps. JDM vent visors (with clips).
Audio
Rockford Fosgate 12" box with amp, currently not installed.
Lighting
Stock. Painted bottom edge of headlights subtle yellow. Smoked all turn signals.
Exhaust
Was a full aftermarket coffee can exhaust when purchased, replaced with stock (bolt-on)muffler for sound.
Suspension
Stock. Replaced broken rear sway bar end links.
Wheel and Tire
Stock. Painted Graphite Gray with red H center caps.
