All I saw at a quick glance doing a google search was an ebay uk listing for the first part number and it said it didn't fit but they could be wrong or I didn't check the other number so maybe you got them backwards. I don't know I will look into it more later. I don't have a factory rubber bushing in either of those two positions to compare.

looks like a rubber replacement as long as it fits which it should if it is made for our car. I don't think it will matter either way.

Kevin, i forgot to add some info on bushings for the front lower control arm. I ordered these from a parts guy from my town and thses are made by Meyle. This # is the inner lower31-14 513 0003 and the outer is#31-14 518 0001. Ii don't think the manufacture has ever been mentioned before so i thought i pass this along to you,any thoughts on these? Thanks Kevin

Hi Steve, hope all is well with you. I have a question(again) with 4ws. My 89 4ws rack is about shot as it's leaking oil, any suggestions about what or where on a new rack if available? I guess a regular 2ws is out of the question? So any insight would be appreciated on what my options are .
    Thanks Steve... Dan

My mom just had a cat scan for different reason. I was looking at cat scan images via a google search. I also looked at pet scan images. Some of the stuff I had seen and read stated that using a pet scan and cat scan (I am not sure if this is one combined machine or two like they use to be) but the combination was helping to find cancers that they couldn't find before. I don't know how common it is if it is a combined machine nor if it is more expensive but you should look at the google images to see what I am talking about and if the cat scan finds nothing I would definitely talk to your doctor about it. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Kevin, need some guidance on the best way to remove the slave master cylinder nut on the interior underneath the dash> The one side is a breeze(right side) the one on the left is something of a challenge. So i replaced the master cylinder, hose, bled and seems to be fine, for now, but i like to know how that damn nut comes off within that tight space. Thanks Kevin.
Little update, seen a cancer surgeon for some input, seems for me detecting my cancer will be a challenge also, nothing will detect it till it's too late,so i will get a cat scan for now and then will see another surgeon for possible options.
Thanks Kevin, hope your doing ok also. Dan

Kevin Thanks much for all the input which i'll present to my mechanic,he's good and smart.Mainly works on BMW's and Benz's.
So, this Sat. i'll take my 93 Integra up to N.J. for Honda Day, it has won some first and second place finishes but the trend is more too the more modified cars. Still think my good Prelude is cleaner, but the Teg isn't to shabby either, ii just go because most Hondas/Acurs aren't well received at local car shows and i only do a couple anyhow.
Wish all the best your way Kev.

Kevin,my clutch went on my beater Lude which my mechanic will do the work on it for me,any tips or info needed meaning like advice on removal or other parts while exposed?
Hope all is well with you Kevin. Thanks… Dan

no I have a new one. Beck arnley I think but it is still in the box. I haven't had to replace it yet. It is easy to get to though. Its on the topside of the transmission. If you have your old one or pick up an old one you could pull your new one and compare. I would check wiring. There are only two wires. Maybe the aftermarket one is wired wrong. I think it I one female and one male but I would have to look at it again. You could try blue bullet connectors plugged in and if they fit cut off the leads and solder the blue on in reverse. Or just buy a different brand and try that. I would look at the shop manual to see if there is a procedure for removing it and if not just remove it do whatever you decide to do. They are not that expensive.

Thanks Kevin for the info. The speakers i got are Panasonics TS-A16755,seemed for me the way to go for my needs,it's my beater Lude. Kevin, what are your thoughts on my backup lights, the sensor got replaced with a new one, and now the backup lights stay on in any gear. I did read maybe the aftermarket are a tad long and may need more spacers or maybe the mechanic didn't put a spacer in. I looked in the shop manual and didn't find a solution, any ideas. Thanks Kevin.

Well the gray connector stock is for ecu temp sending unit. Not sure what it would do if not hooked up. It might throw a cel code but not sure. If you have a cel then the ecu goes in limp mode and runs rich. As far as normal heating up faster that is dictated by the fiv fast idle valve next to the throttle body on the backside. To test it you use the cardboard like stated below. I have read up on them and some youtube videos say to gently with wide blade flat screw driver snug the internal valve down.

But yeah your waterneck should be bled after that job or replacing any hose. That is the most likely bouncy idle creator. usually.

I forget which engine you have. The b21 has an aftermarket fiv and the stock Honda part if still available. The b20 I am not sure on aftermarket. I want to say no but it has been just long enough since I looked it up I am not sure. If it is available it would be on rockauto.com website.

I think it might be because of the connector pigtails, so im going to try that. Just got the part in the mail anyway. My buddie who is a mechanic said that the sensors tell the car when its hot/cold and during that process it will run rich to make it hot=1500rpms and then drop to 700-800 rpms when its at the right temp. These are the waterneck sensors

is it staying at 1500? If it is bouncy I would bleed the coolant at the fitting by thermostat. Easiest thing to do is attach same diameter or slightly smaller on bleeder nipple and run it into 20 oz bottle. Otherwise maybe vacuum leak or fiv may be acting up. To rule out fiv. Take it loose and install a card (thin) cardboard block off between it and the intake. Cereal box type.

hey cuda, My prelude is idling at 1500 rpms, i am not sure if it did that before i did my waterpump and timing belt or after.

if it is pregreased like Honda oem are just install with the tool. If not pregrease just grease the sealing lip and install. tool in my oddball and large tool thread in the f.a.q.
    MugenMachina ·
Hey Cuda, If I am installing a new front crankshaft-seal, do I need to coat it with RTV/hondabond, or install it as-is (pregreased)?
