Im lowering the black temptress more and painting my sh wheels white tomorrow for a winter wheel/temporary wheel. Still gotta save up a while for my wheels, probably have them around january.
Im doing somewhat close to what your doing with your prelude. hope to see what it looks like in the future. For your BBS, your just painting the face, not the lip correct?
alright well since the wheel setup i want will probably cost me about 2 grand, i painted my wheels and lowered my car more as an OK looking temporary look. haha
Ok, that's what I was thinking. I was thinking there's no way you have adequate suspension travel on the front end with it that low. I tried running like that on the track once, and it was a disaster. Even with very high spring rate front springs, the front kept bottoming out.
yeah my cars not being built for the track or for maximum function like yours. the extensive drop is for style and form, not function thats why i titled this build a "stance" build
Alright, i know its been a while since i posted, but theres been a lot of saving happening... Ive decided to do the h23a vtec jdm swap. I finally have enough money to do it so it should be ordered within a couple weeks. In the meantime ive bought some rsx wheels and painted them a metallic tealish color. i also bought some neochrome lugnuts to match my shift knob. Ill post some pictures of the wheels tomorrow!
haha sorry i know ive been way busy with school and work.. but ill try to take some quick pics after i get out of school today and give me some feedback!
I know, i only bought these wheels because my tires were worn and i didnt want to spend $400 on new tires. believe it or not i bought these with 85+% tread left for $150... haha pretty much a steal. but i just spray primered and actually used honda spray can touch up paint. its a color called hampstead green, it comes stock on honda fits. I figured the body paint would be fine for cheap stock wheels. its only temporary anyways.
Just ordered my jdm h23a vtec and t2t4 lsd tranny, the dude said shipping will take 2 weeks... even though theyre shipping from L.A. and im in sacramento... but whatever
so sorry if this is a dumb question, but if im getting new trans new block, dont i just need base axles and intermediate shaft? or will i have to make that mounting bracket...?
if the base intermediate shaft bolts up to the h23a block then dont i just need to buy the base axles and base intermediate shaft and it should bolt up to the h23a block fine right?
alright.. so sorry for the terribly boring build thread.. haha my engine and tranny are on their way and i ordered a base axle and intermediate shaft. plenty of pictures soon dont worry
okay i know most everyone on this forum hates the skunk2 intake manifold for h22s but im not really trying to spend an extra $250 on the euro r right now. the slight difference between the two isnt that big of a deal to me... this is, in fact, a fun daily driver.
motor and lsd tranny are scheduled to arrive on tuesday at noon
intermediate shaft and driver side axle both came in the mail finally
I ordered the hardware for the intermediate shaft from honda, its should be here tomorrow at 10, bought some crappy intake gaskets at O'reily's.
Motor should be coming today at around noon, ill take plenty of pictures. I think im going to clean up my AEM V2 today while i wait just to make my bay a little prettier
