New block or new motor?

Hey guys I run dirt track and love the prelude but i cracked my block a few weeks ago and i haven't decided yet on if it would be easier to find a new block and move everything over or just find a new motor its a 1.8 dual carb so if yall could just let me know what would be better for me to do.

I'm planning to part out my '85 dual carb, manual tranny, this fall. Located in Mesa, AZ. It has 105k and mostly sat in my garage since 1995. Over the years, has always needed "carb work", sound familiar? ;-)
I drove it out to AZ from IN, but it seemed to run lean as I got 35 mpg much of the way, and currently not passing NOX (too low).

If you choose a new motor, I would like to buy your carb setup.
