i buy the same piston rod with race engenring
it's normal for you , not have the drilling of the connecting rod lubrication on FORGED ROD ? ( in OEM rod there are present)

Towlieee RIP! Love this build, loved his car. I haven't kept up much to date on PP in the last couple years, but now that I came back I fell in love with his build, then found out he passed away, terrible.

I love the idea of the h22 manifold.. In the next few months I'm going to work on turboing my b20a5, and WAS planning on using a DSM oem manifold and turbo.. But after seeing this, and knowing an aftermarket h22 manifold has to flow much better then a OEM dsm manifold, I think I'm going to go this route.

I have no problem port matching, plus I already planned on porting the head. I could even if needed for best flow, have the manifold welded up and built up on the side it overhangs, and even if I wanted have the head welded up although I don't think that'll matter.

Wish the guy was still around, his car was amazing! Seems like he provided a lot of good information and help when he was around. RIP

turbonetics1 Not sure, I'll stop by the junk yard later this week to find out. If the legend's don't I'll try another car, they have a shit ton of other acura's out there as well. I'll look them all over and let you know what I find by sunday. Hopfully I'll find a set of double piston calipers from a acura CLs or GS legend, I have been keeping my eye out for one of those cars. Dam, I was trying to stay away from the junk yard for a while, looks like I'll be back this week.

Rambothemighty1 do you know for sure if the 94 rear legend calipers will bolt up? I only ask because I'm trying to figure out something for my car right now too.

turbonetics1 They are next, I'm slammed with work right now, so it will be in two weeks. But since you brought it up, I'll be thinking about it. So far I'm sure I'll use the rear legend calipers, but the rotors may come from another honda/acura.

turbonetics1 Mabe for a larger area pump a bunch out on a section of cardboard, and use a somthing like a credit card to spread it out over the suspected area. Use gloves, that stuff is much harder to clean off than silicon.

turbonetics1 The first time I used foam stickey-back tape, prob the same shit you used. While my ride was down for a few weeks in june, I had time to mess with the small stuff. To answer your question yes, it's the same black polyurathane that I used to fill the front and rear mount with. I bought it from lowes, It comes in a black/yellow/silver tube, the brand is PL and I think a caulk gun tube of it cost around 7 bucks, its great stuff. Much better than the factory felt strips that are falling off all preludes. The poly will also keep the plastic from moving around, just make sure it has 24hrs to dry before you put the parts back into your car. Works great around the inside of the door handles inserts in the door panels.

tsiah ya...the cobb street tuner is sick.

all 06+ subarus went to ej25 engines(well...except the 6 cylinder vehicles of course). the older ones had the ej20

turbonetics1 I think the 06 wrx has the ej20 engine, so mabe a little better milage than the ej25 there. Still, the prelude is a lightweight compaired to the wrx though, I can coast alot when low on gas with the lude. I have a wideband in the lude that I live by when driving the lude, 14.7 a/f all the time when cruzing, 11.0 hauling ass, 13.8 in traffic when hot to keep the engine running nice and cool. I can't do these thaings with the subaru, well, I could but my money is in the lude's ecu system and not the subaru's.

Yes I know you would, I have been here long enough to know who will and who wont pay for a complete custom deal, but I want to make sure that we have a cheaper way to make the 4th gen calipers bolt up solid.

With brakes you dont want to take a gamble, with the solid bracket, there is less worry of vibration causing any kind of issue. Remember, the reason that there is brake pad goop, is to reduce or eliminate the high pitch squealing caused by the intense vibration from the brake pads being thrown back and forth doing there job.

I would rather invest into something more solid, then to chance my life on whim.

As for the minor issues like grinding some metal on a turbo manifold, that is something that can be overlooked to make work on our cars.

tsiah what do you mean the newer ones won't? I'm not just pulling numbers out...he has 58,xxx miles on the 06 and has seen as high as 31mpg and averages 28~29mpg.

turbonetics1 Mabe a older evo or dsm will get that mileage but not the newer wrx's. Those suckers ride heavy and smooth because they are. When I bought the car I was hopeing that it would great on gas, but it isint. I drove it to maimi from charleston and that fucker drinks, the lude went from charleston to boca on one tank tuned. Thats some good mileage
