Best exhaust size for carbed motor?

I have a stock b20a4 motor with a custom risc k&n air intake and i wanna favricate a complete exhaust system, what is the best size to go for if i'm looking for power and not sound?

Not much point going more than 2.25" unless you're making LOTS of power up top.
