Logo Comparison...Which one is closest to the real deal?

This is the brain child of a thread I began earlier.
I'd like to know which one of these example is closest
to the real deal. If I can get enough votes and
interest, I'll go ahead and turn the winning selection
into a vector image. What this means is that you
can take the vector image and make it as large or
small as you want without distortion. It will also be
uploaded to www.brandsoftheworld.com and I can
also send it to anyone who PM's me.

Once I get a general consensus I'll create that vector
image and update this thread.

when i get to college today, im goining to go to the mac lab and use illustrator to create an .eps file. When I do this ill PM you the file.

they are all the same font, just different boldness and size. I googled "automotive fonts" and found that the Hyundai logo was similar to the prelude bumper font.

Prior to finding this I was trying to make something out of the photos i had received from my other threads. Using photochop and illustrator I tried making vector images of the pics I D/L'd, but the results were shitty. Trying to do it that way would have consumed way too much time.

So I just edited the Hyundai font in paint to get it close, and now ill use these to create the image in illustrator, hopefully without a hitch this time.

Ok now i have to get back to work, ill update when its finished.

Ok, the vector drawing is complete, if anyone wants a HIGH quality file they can take to a vinyl graphics shop and get a noyce decal, then PM me. I made
several different versions in an outline format and a soild format due to the fact there was no overwhelming majority. I also can give you two different file types of the same artwork so you wont run into software compatibility issues. Furthermore, I have this file saved as a jpeg in my profile for those of you who want to see the work, but don't have illustrator. Here's the link

Why didn't you just take a picture of the logo and trace it in illustrator instead of monkeying around with some other typeface that won't ever be exact?

lmao right now... I dont have a digital camera, and the lude i just got is shaved, but that wasn't the only thing. The photos i used were more suitable as a reference; furthermore, when i tried tracing using auto-trace there were too many 'curvable' anchor points. Trying to use the pics i had available to trace (by mouse, or auto-trace)would've cost me buttloads of time. I stumbled across the Hyundai font on accident, and while it wasn't exact it was close. I took the font, turned it into outlines (once i typed 'prelude'), and edited it to match the reference pics. If I had a set of badges layin' around I could've printed my work to scale. Thats why I have so many different copies; while each is only slightly different one of them has to be near perfect, and from that point it would only take a slight modification to make exact, if i had badge it would be perfect and there would be only one logo in the thumbnail.

If i could've found this on the internet already I really wouldn't have gone thru all this effort. Im hope this is useful to someone, besides this is probably the only prelude forum that has this specific info.
