My car is a little louder now

No emissions? No problem!

I'll probably replace it at some point but I'd rather not spend the money on it right now. It's got a bit of a growl to it anyway.

Its tunable, you just push in some more of the rust and make the hole bigger until you get the sound you want.

Part of it was from me poking at it with my keys but 90% of it opened up strictly from a 10 minute drive.

The car was a PA car for 20 years. I was told by the last owner that he replaced the muffler while he had it. I have no idea when.

your muffler should look like the pics below with polyurethane blue hangers instead of a water hose clamp "holding it together". Nevermind that mine is dirty in pics. I have since cleaned and polished it to look like new.

The stainless steel magnaflow polished up great as did my magnaflow ss resonator.

To be honest, I couldn't care less. I love this car but it isn't exactly a show quality ride. It gets me from Point A to Point B and does a damn good job of it. Like I said earlier in the thread, the last owner mentioned that he changed out the muffler. The hanger has nothing to do with my handy work lol.

To be honest, I'm not sure how rusty the car really is. I should probably take a good look at the undercarriage. It has the typical rust on the corners of the rear wheel wells. Other than that, it should be in pretty good shape. I haven't had to do much work to it. I can't complain.
