ok guys after viewing a couple of threads
i have decided to do something crazy
i have a relativly rare honda item in my possesion
a personal box no smoking ashtray decal the same as the one pictured

i dont have the ashtray as ironically it was full of cig butts and stunk

anyway im not using it so i have decided to give it away with only one catch i will send it to anyone in the world free of charge
but that person has to be the first person to pm me with the correct answers to all the following riddles and question
(yes most will prob google the answers so ill try to find some that arent on the net)

1. what was the first man made object to break the sound barrier?
2. i travel around the world but never leave my corner what/who am i?
3.an archeologist discovers a coin and proclaims it to be the oldest yet found it is made of gold from the roman times found in outer sicily and is stamped with julius ceasers face ,12bc and a sword and sheild on it.
it is proved to be a forgery...how?
4.a man walks into a dark basement and finds before him a furnace to heat the house a gas lantern to see around the house and a gas oven to cook his food he only has one match what item would be smartest to light first
5.a woman lives on the top floor of a very tall building when she goes to work she rides the elevator from her floor right to the bottom but when she returns she stops 6 stories short of her floor and takes the last six on the stairs, however if its raining she takes the elevator to the top floor...why does she do this
6. (last one) what physical object gets bigger as you take mass away from it

ok thats all i can think of at midnight by the way you americans have about a 6-7 hour head start on those in nz or aus so you better make the most of it

so who out there is going to make their lude alittle different by way of brain power alone....lets wait and see

ok guys we have a winner ZOLDRIN *ding ding ding*

i got some pretty interesting answers not all of them right
1. i got a few bell x-1 answers the right answer is the tip of a whip (the crack you hear is the sonic boom) (insert ohhhh moment here)
2.a stamp most got this one
3.i got answers ranging from ceasar wasnt in power to the coins would be made of silver or bronze the right answer is much simpler the date is wrong you cant have a date relating to a future event (before christ) if you dont know that event is going to happen
4.simple he should light the match first
5.the lady is to short to reach her button at the top of the panel but on a rainy day she can reach with her umbrella
6.most got this a hole gets bigger as you remove mass

well this kept me entertained for a good 10 mins trying to remember riddles from my childhood (mainly from a certain english teacher)

and i seem to have done good for the world zoldrin promised to quit smoking if he won and i seem to have caused people to become educated with fine detail of the roman empire

so until next time i find something interesting and feel like controling the minds of people around the world thankyou for playing

It's true, I spent almost half an hour reading about Julius Caesar, the Roman Empire, and the Roman Currency, before it finally struck me.

You know Caesar was the first to commission coins of himself, and they were the first coins of the Roman Empire to not feature somebody dead from the past... I think it was Augustus who commissioned coins with elephants on them cos that was his favorite animal. I was also researching carbon dating of gold - that sounds like me yeah? lol

As to this little mystery, I'm very excited. Thanks for the opportunity, Lude related game shows are fun

Oh yeah, and this is the motivation to quit smoking as I mentioned, I've tried several times in the past, and relapsed after some months, but if my Lude tells me I don't smoke - no arguing with that...

ok guys to keep things rolling i have decided to change things a little bit
the mystery gift i am giving zoldrin (just realised that makes it sounds like im giving him aids or something) i have two of i was going to give him both because i dont need them but in light of everyone wanting free gifts i will give him one and the other to someone else
so the gameshow is in action once again

this time to make it a little bit fairer for those not on in the middle of the night like me you will have 24 hours to complete said task

the task is mighty simple i am thinking of a number between 1 and 1000 person who guesses closest to it wins the mystery prize if two people guess the same winning number the prize will go to the person who first posted it

also post answer on this thread as my inbox is nearly full
