Think pink!

Anyone catch this car on ebay? It's a race ready hornet car with built in cage ready for someone to take it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1998-...=p4506.c0.m245

What exactly is a hornet car again?

With all honesty, though.. that would be one killer ass hornet.

Around Central illinois, you have to run stock motor, drivetrain, etc....

a 5spd h22 lude would be the shit as a hornet!

thats so sad to see lol. Me and a buddy were gonna build a car to race at our local track. We were gonna use a civic hatch with an h22 swap, but then we found out rules/regulations allowed a max of 150hp front wheel drive 4 cyl.

Kinda shitty if you think about it, but oh well. We still might just use a civic hatch with a b18b or somethin of the sort.

Stupid rednecks(or not because he's from Il), they wasted another lude that could have been good for parts. But why the hell would they race an SS lude? and they actually claimed to that they won. Probably other cars are shit.

It's like an entry level for people who wanna get into circle track (Nascar) racing. A Prelude would be awesome for Hornet racing, because the whole point of the Hornet class is that the cars are pieces of shit so its like no competition. I used to go to the track and think about how a VTEC motor would demolish all those pieces of crap, especially one with ATTS on asphalt. Most of them around here are like older chryslers or whatever from the 80's, they really suck man.

I don't see how it's a waste, I mean it's a Prelude and its racing so the parts are getting used exactly how they were meant to be. Anytime insurance totals a car and gives the driver what its worth, the car is just crushed so that's more of a waste... if someone is parting the car out, anything that's not sold is being wasted. To be honest they probably did part the car out but kept the motor and drivetrain. Might as well make it a hornet and kick some ass with whatever's left.

Fuck I was born in 89 and I think that at times too. I grew up in the 90's but most of it was spent watching movies and cartoons from the late 80's.
