built head. need some advice

alright guys well i picked up a a built head with 500 miles on it for pretty cheap earlier this year and i'm getting ready to put it on in september hopefully. GUDE Perfomance in Cali did all the headwork and from what i hear they're pretty old school. Anyways when the head goes on, what else should I upgrade to squeeze some power out of it besides the fuel pump, fuel rail, injectors, headers, spark plugs/wires and a tune. I have an auto tranny as well A while ago i talked to some guys on here about this and they said that i should switch to OBD I and run a p28 ecu. what do you guys think i could do to get the most out of it?
thanks in advance.

gude...there iffy from what i have heard,,but i have no personal experiecnce so dont take it to heart!!!!!!!!

but u are going to need to tune the car!
meaning at least a vafc if you decide to stay obd2
if u switch to a obd1 ecu(p2 it will need to be socket and chipped
for whatever ur tunner tunes on!!!!!!

and depending on ur compression and cams u should be able to stay on stock injectors

this is a h22 motor correct?

yeap, h22a4. I've heard Gude is iffy as well but i got a hell of a deal for it, so we'll see how it turns out. are they any negative aspects of converting it to OBD I?

All you need is the obd conversion harness from boomslang and an obd1 civic ecu. Don't get an eBay conversion harness!! It will not work!! Get a boomslang or a phearable.
