Front End Conversion question

I searched this site and can't find the info I'm looking for:

Is it possible to put an entire stock front end (sheetmetal) from a 4th generation Prelude on a 5th generation Prelude.
I love the small headlights on the 4th generation and the small tail lights on the 5th generation. Has this been done and does anyone have any pics or opinions.
Thanks and "Great Site"

Bill

i guess the general answer is anything can be done with enough money. I personally haven't seen it done, but i've seen other front ends (skyline, i think a jdm integra front too). I say photoshop it

240 headlights

A couple of those don't look bad. I wouldn't imagine a 4th gen front looking good on a 5th gen body.

it sure looks like it, probably molded with the lexus bottom half. i personally don't like it. it could be the rims. that's throwing it off. hah it just looks not as sporty as a prelude should.

The tsx lights would look pretty hot too. Photoshop anyone?

Those pics are awesome.
I might just have to try the stock 4th front end on a 5th generation.
Don't know how close it would be to a direct bolt-on.
I can't do photoshop, but I think it would look great.
Thanks for the info.

i would assume it's far from a bolt, lots of cutting, custom fitting, and filling (probably some welding), etc. I have photoshop, i'll see if i have time.

x2. The fifth gen is an inch bigger in almost every dimension.

Funny, someone just showed me that yellow one the other day when we were talking about the skyline rear light conversion at the shop.

I love it.

The lexus one doesn't go well with the overall look of the lude IMO. The skyline conversion would go really well considering the similarities in styling between the 5th gen and skyline.

i think the did the SC300 front end because the SC300 looks a lot like a lude, well imo it does but that JDM DC2 front end is HOT

+1 That would be HOT! It's a toss up between that or JDM DC2 front end conversion for being the best front end conversion for a 5th lude

Wow those are crazy!

Some of them are pretty ricer besides the lights, but I'm sure a lot of work was put into all of them. Definitely some potential there, especially if you kept the rest fairly clean.
