well i had an 85 rx-7 modded, then took it back to stock...
I ate plenty of rx-8's. auto and stick are same shit... maybe even auto better, because u dont gotta be shifting.. besides, In the races i ran with them, were str8 runs, and it wus an ass kicking from the start... and also, a friend following me home from college, ran with me, and i ate my street corner going like 30 or so, and his car, slid out into the ditch... and he been driving as long as me!

But on topic, its an ugly car...

Umm, the initial post never mentioned a cap or ceiling, only that the car had to be stock and unmodified.. Nowadays a well-optioned S-Class or 7-series easily creep into six figure territory.. Again, this thread is subjective and no need to attack anyone based their opinion(s).. Just because something is pricey and exotic doesn't mean it has to be pretty, take some mail-order brides for example..
