Phoenix Red 4WS ... In Phoenix! (18 pics)

Here's an update on my new toy. This car has come a long way in the <2 months that I've owned it. It is a bone stock 1991 Si 4WS 5-speed, Phoenix Red on Black, now with nearly 121,000 miles on it. The car has the rare center armrest and an even rarer functional clock door

Here is what I've done to it.

Maintenance: Timing belt, water pump, drive belts, thermostat, spark plugs, cap & rotor, air filter, upper & lower radiator hoses.

Appearance: Full window tint (20% on the sides, 5% back window), 15" Integra GSR Fat Fives with 195/55/15 Michelin tires and Honda center caps, OEM half mask, and brand new window moldings below the rear side windows.

Gonna call it good for awhile. The Lude has become the daily and the Legend is the weekend car. The 4WS is way too much fun to drive to leave it parked too long.

Figured it was appropriate that I take some pics of my Phoenix Red Lude in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Had my digital camera on the wrong ISO setting so a lot of these came out grainy. Sorry about that.

Check out the brand new below-window moldings! They always get chipped up on the third gens. They're $28 apiece brand new, so I picked up a couple.

oh my god dude, you honestly have one of the nicest 3rd gens Ive ever seen. I cant believe its condition for an almost 17 year old car. keep it up dude I love it

Thanks! It's getting there. I plan on doing a complete detail this weekend (clay bar, three-step wax, engine detail, interior cleaning) and I may snag a few pics in the process. I also plan on completely scrubbing the wheel wells & undercarriage and painting all the visible parts with fresh black paint.

Still needs a few dents removed and I need to figure out why my front marker lights (next to the fogs) aren't working, but otherwise it doesn't need much.

It's got 121,000 on it now. It had 117,000 on it when I picked it up.

5th gen side skirts and rear lip and maybe and accord or integra front lip. Then a nice suspension set up. then you'll be ridin dirty.

Hey Tyson! Lude is lookin' awesome. Fat five Rims are nice, and I see you got the center caps. We'll get a photoshoot together someday. School's a killer, and the dealership is giving me hell. But I still park in the same spot everyday!

Yeah, I definitely think it needs some lip action on the front. Haven't decided which one yet. I'll keep those recommendations in mind!

Thanks man. They were a little tough to find in good shape. I actually ended up driving all the way to LA to pick up these Fat Fives. I paid a little over market value ($400) but they have brand new Michelin tires and are virtually curb rash free.

Right from the dealer bro. They are a special order part, but you can still get them. They're $28 for each side. TOTALLY worth it instead of having to refinish your current ones. Takes 30 seconds to install.

I am down to meet up but i will have to pass on this weekend. My sister is comming in town for the weekend and we have plans to go ride the quads on saturday but I am definately down for next weekend. I will have to take the lude to a real carwash next time. It looks like someone sprayed oil all over my lude and it looks like shit next to yours! LOL!!
