i've had that happen, or at least similar on several cars, the solutions to the problems that i've come across: bump in the tire, wheel bent or outta balance, cotter pins werent installed on the front axel bolts and things came loose(not good..but not "not good" like the wheel fly off while ur driving on the highway, but "not good" as in ur car breaks down in the middle of an intersection and you have a suspended license and ur dog in the back seat...end up in jail... gg cotter pins) heh sorry for side track, but anyways those were the solutions to my issue they may or may not be the one for yours.

heh my bad, replying to old post, sorry you can delete

I was trying to not piss off my neighbors as much as possible.

that was also with my old exhaust.

One of these days i'll go and get similar videos to compare exhaust sound w/ the new Thermal. & i promise i'll go a bit faster in the next take.

Check out this new compilation i just got done making.

When you jumpstarted that with the neg on the radiator and the pos on the dist block it woulda basically just started the car off your jumper pack and let the alternator run the car which obviously doesnt have enough juice to run both ur cd player etc AND your engine.

Would just be a shortcut way of starting the car. Means your battery wouldnt have done anything you may as well not have even had the battery in your car at all by starting it that way lol. Id say your wire is damaged somehow.

Yeah i knew it was basically skipping the batt. all togeather.

& i guess something has to be wrong with the wire, its so reciulous though. Its a solid wire all the way to the trunk. Only thing i could think of is that maybe it got damaged from the fender being smashed in when the cart hit it and maybe it is rubbing against something & worn through. A short perhaps?

i dunno, im no wiring guru... so your guess is as good as mine.

I have off tomarrow or fri. so i'll be tearing it apart to try and figure out wtf is wrong.

he was indeed...very random.

but yeah the next thing to happen is the fixing of my lude. Somabitch wont start. So i need to rip out the power cable to inspect it for tears or breaks in it cuz its def. not transferring the charge from the batt. to the fuse box for some reason.

After that, shes getting garaged.

Things to do:

1) Winter is approaching and the engines in need of upkeep. I.e. numerous gaskets, moving some wires, re-wrapping other wires.

2) Exchange the broken antenna motor and antenna out with my spair.

3) Complete A/c removal, seeing how the guy before me felt it was necessary to remove just one of the lines from the compressor to the firewall & left everything else in there (compressor, condenser & such)

4) trying to find a used Half rad. maybe a PWR.

5) Getting rid of or relocating the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

6) Finish the Black interior swap by swapping the tan door panels out & black ones in. Requires some modifications to add the power lock switches, since the black panels dont have it.

7) Special fabrication projects. Its gonna be a suprise mostly. Fiberglassing some things i've been thinking about for the dash. Seeing how i have a spair dash to Fook~ around with.

8 ) Possibly finishing my door pod that i was working on, on my yellow lude a while back. Would also be easier to do now that i have spair door panels.

9) New p/s fluid reservoir & lines...

10) New vacume lines...

11) Should be the first thing on the list... but i desperatly need to fix the idle issue.

12) Air duct project.... kinda iffy on direction im going with it, its basically just an "if i really have the time" kinda project.

13) All new ball joints all around, 4ws tie rod end links i think needed replaced.

14) Possibly purchasing the Orijin Bushings upgrades.

15) **new tailight seals...mine leak like a mofo.

16) False floor w/ full size spair.

17) I have a few spair b20 heads laying around and one has a Painted intake manifold attached that actually looks quite nice. Im thinking about installing that one onto my motor. No reason really besides the fact that i like the way it looks. ( 2- B20a's & a B20b (crv) head to be exact)

18 ) find a nice steering wheel & install my HKB quick release hub.

theres prolly a lot more i need to do but thats all i can think of for now.

I got nothing but time.

It also helps not having friends around here... no distractions...although theres no one to help.

Makes it easier for things to get done not having to rely on it as a DD.

Are you moving the battery box if you're putting a spare tire back in the trunk?

I knew i missed correcting some of them, & of course you found them.

No though i'm not moving the batt. box, im gonna have a full size spaIR sitting in there a lil odd. But it'll work & hopefully it'll look alright once the false floor is done.

you got any hubs left from your yellow lude?
fab up a bracket so you can mount the hub in the trunk, than you can have your spaRE nice and snug in the trunk.

I'll mount it so it still spins & all... spinnas in the trunk.

Ok that would be stupid, the spinning part that is.

The hub mounting idea, thats genius. I steal your idea. ... possibly

Prelude of the Month
I cant figure out this damn wiring issue.

I pulled the power wire all the way back out the back of the car.

When i test the batt. it says it still has charge.

Then i'll put the one end of the tester to a ground and the other end to the positive end thats usually connected to the distribution block up front... & i get the same numbers.

IM not really entirely sure which setting i should have the meter at but no matter which one i put it on it still comes up with the same #'s.

Am i doing something wrong cuz if it has charge all the way up then why the hell am i getting no power to accesories?

the other day when this happened i ended up clipping the pos. lead of a jump pack to the distribution block and neg. to the rad support... & it started but ran kinda odd.

Anyone wanna tell me which setting i should be using and maybe some other things to try checking.

I'd really appreciate it.
