I replaced my front endlinks after I upgraded my rear endlinks to the adjustable endlinks from Secluded.
I found some universal polyurethane endlinks from Prothane. I purchase the set from www.ajusa.com. It cost $6.10 + $8.50 shipping(man is that funny) but I like them, the front end feel more solid, and I when I go over hardbumps on the road, it does not give a hard metal bang like it used too. It absorbs the bumps better, now to get on the other bushings to tighten up the whole suspension.
Here are the details:
1. Bushings: Prothane #19-427 1/2" X 1" OD - color Red
2. Tools: 12mm socket, 3/8" rachet or air rachet. (1) 12mm wrench
3. Floor Jack, Jack stands, grease, shop towels, etc...
Update: One of the members(1988HondaPreludeSI) found another kit with the washers here is the part# 8-401
Here is the picture:
Get the car up in the air and take of those wheels.
Here is a picture witht the old endlinks off:
And here are the old endlinks, man they were tore Up!! And the new bushings that will be going in.
I recommend cleaning the old bolt and nuts and washers, but its up to you. I used regular brake cleaner, works very well, and you should get a cheap wire tooth brush style. It will help get off a lot of old road dirt and grime.
Here they are after cleaning. I did not have wire brush so an old tooth brush did only so much.
I was just testing out, out how they would go in before I acutually installed them.
Here the are installed:
With tires on and on the ground at full compression:
I know we all like pics, so enjoy and if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
