Ouch man that sucks big time. It'll be hard to find another mani like that so you can keep your DP to.

Damn man that really sucks. Time to build a custom stainless one. It will take time but this way you can keep everything how it is.

best part is the guy who sold it to me said no refund, but he will reweld it and add a few braces.....no thanks. thinwall migged together manifold FTL.
i got a stainless log coming from spoolin performance next week. hold me off till next season. downpipe won't be that hard to rewarp, and all i will need is a shorter oil return. i/c piping ois easy to fix.

How much did the block build cost?? Im going to be in the market soon to find someone to build my block, and just curious what you payed. Also, did you use the H22 crank, or did you go with the F22 crank?? I've read you can use the F crank somewhere, but not sure what is needed to do so. Would you use F rods, and H pistons, or would you use H parts all the way, except for crank?? And what are the positives to using the F crank when going boosted?? I am just now doing research for my build, and will soon have my h22a4 to begin building on! Thanks in advance for your help. And to the OP you have a great looking build!! I hope you get the mani soon, and get that thing up to your goal of 400whp!!

block work was a lot. but not a lot for what i got if that makes any sense. block was around $3100 US, turbo kit was around $3000 CAD, head rebuild was a few hundred, install+exhaust fab+ intercooler piping fab+ shit loads of shop work was around $5000 CAD. im into it for around 10k-15k CAD. im sure i missed lots too lol. what a money pit...but hey its fun

stock h22 micropolished/balanced crank is in the block. no idea on F22 crank usage. actually my whole block is H parts.

ya, its a shitty situation with the snow so close. o well i guess. i will have everything together this weekend minus downpipe unless i can find someone to make me one. then its probably parked till spring. i think its seen 1000km's this season lol. maybe not even that. and most of it all has to do with the manifold.

there are a few issues. old charge piping will not work. i thought i could keep the compressor cover facing down, but it smacks the motor mount if i do that. also obviously need a new downpipe. the power steering bracket was hitting the wastegate, so i had to shave the shit out of it and remove a bolt. no biggie. my pump is fried right now anyway.my oil return is wayyyyy too long so i need to get a shorter one made. or i could spiral this one to pick up the slack lol. i might do my new oil feed line tomorrow, and put the bumper back on finally. at least i won't have to worry about manifolds cracking anymore. i hope.
