Yea that first evo clip definately was a bit farty. Can't explain it, but the sound otherwise is pretty spot on.

I have that particular exhaust, cept it roars instead of poots.

mugen sounded the best and stock always is good. like stock g35 exhaust sounds awesome, compared to aftermarket ones. Also i love the sound of a wrx. All in all, prelude sounds good with the proper exhaust, especially when Vtec hits!!

Yup, though none sounded bad really...cept the evo that was farting.

Sad thing is, I've come to the opinion that mugen parts are overrated. Not b/c of cost, but b/c of the results associated with the costs...

Mugen breathing mods average 1200 bucks per unit. Same as RMF. Now, dyno both.

i still want to hear a tanabe hyper medallion, anyone i try and pm for a sound clip is a flake! today i was parking in front of my house and some red 5th gen lude with a front mount intake and what looked to be a tanabe hyper medallion passed by me but was slowing down for a stop, i barely heard the exhaust note since he didnt really acc. too fast, all of a sudden i see him pull up into a driveway down my block and i was like wtf?/ so i went to go talk to him but he was already in his house, ill try to talk to him tomorow and see what type of exhaust he has and have him make a sound clip so i can post up here

Are the sounds solely because the exhaust? Or did the guy have other mods that contributed to that growl? Can anyone tell me what else he has?

If there are any other mods related to exhaust, I've listed them. But I wouldn't look too much into it. The Mugen exhaust is that nice.

yea that evo sounds like crap, but thats wut mine sounds like in the clip I took. but it doesnt sound like that at all in person its weird something with the camera and how it captures audio I guess

I search on the forum for some information and a sound clip for the Thermal R&D catback... and luckely I found what I was looking for.

However, the last tread that talks about that catback goes back to 2005.

So, I was wondering if this product is still available for our cars because I really like the stock look of that model?
