Run_Away will become famous soon enough

Prelude of the Month
Nice work!

You beat me to the conversion. Did you find plugs for the holes in the upper door where the long torx bolts went? And what about the plate with all the big studs for the USDM belts inside the door, did you remove that as well?

I haven't looked into a Canadian door yet for that bit specifically but I will soon, I'm thinking of deleting mine. Probably weights a bunch. I'd imagine the USDM belts as a whole add a good 10 lbs at least to the car. Also I was surprised how small and thin the reinforcement in the A pillar is for the non-USDM top anchor.

Seatbelt bolts are standardized 7/16-20 thread to this day still, it's weird. I don't understand it, it's not like they're interchangeable.

Looks great. Jelly of the sills.

They are currently empty holes. I've got tons of plugs I've salvaged from other cars I'll probably put some in at some point.

I left the plates in the doors because I want the option of switching back to USDM belts if needed.

Yeah that is the most annoying part, getting a reinforcement piece in there. I thought I was going to be able to fish it up there from the openings down below but it's actually pretty much closed off. I had to make a hole near the bottom of the pillar to get the part I made in there.
