H22A thrust washers

I have a H22A block and the crankshaft is moving back and forth. I looked around and seems that this is not abnormal with aftermarket clutches. Anyhow, I continue to do some research and found that it's usually due to worn out thrust washers. Anyways, before I jumped to this task there's a few questions I had:
1. Does the crankshaft need to be removed?
2. What specs should my thrust washers be at? Size wise.
3. I'm sure the cradle has to be removed so when it is, do I have to apply engine lube like camshaft caps? Or any oil? Etc.
4. Is there any DIY of this with pictures? I'm more of a visual learner.

Thanks everyone.
