B&M 13000 BTU Transmission Cooler

Rating: 4.5/5
Price: $50 shipped Amazon.com

Made of aluminum, cools very well. Transmission shifts smoother. Installation was easy.

The reason for 4.5/5 is you do need to buy some more transmission hose. I bought 4 1/2 feet of 11/32 from Pepboys for $10.59. Other than that little problem, no complaints thus far.

Its to cool an auto trans or cool the ATTS fluid on a type SH if you have an after market radiator.

My friend uses this same one on his Volvo and it definitely helps keep it cool if you ever drive the car hard. Before it would overheat and drop into neutral until it cooled off and now it shifts perfectly under all conditions.

Yeah that's the way to go if you riding with an Auto Magic tranny. I might just hook one up myself til I actually swap the 5 speed into my 5g.
