1st Gen Parts: For Sale/Trade/Wanted/Findings

The title is pretty clear, but I thought it'd be nice for you all to have a select thread to post the parts you are looking for, have for sale or trade, or things you've found that others might need (ex: parts on ebay for your ludes). Please post your parts here instead of making threads about them that can get lost over time.

Good luck on finding/selling your parts!

I posted this in "for sale" but I wasn't sure if anybody here had seen it or not yet.

Got this head from Canada. It's off on an 83 Accord with the 1600EL engine. It's been rebuilt at a local machine shop. Not sure all that was exactly done to it, but supposedly it's like new now. The cam, though, has a bit of rust on it, since I let it sit too damn long.

It will go on any 82-83 Accord or 82 Prelude block with the EK1 engine in it. It will bump the compression, and get rid of the CVCC system. Should be a nice little power bump.

This also comes with intake and exhaust manifolds if necessary. They're heavy so shipping might be killer...

$150 + Shipping.

SOLD!

82 Prelude FS

Hey everyone, I came across a 82 Prelude localy so i picked it up with plans of fixing it and maybe driving it, well, i have no time and too many projects as it is, so i am going to try to sell it whole if possible as i dont have much time to spare for parting it out. I will do it if i have to but i wanted to see how much demand there is for this year. So on to the car.

It is a 5 speed that starts right up and runs and drives good except for the clutch is slipping, thats the only mechanical problem, only minor rust but the paint is getting pretty ugly. Not sure what else to say so bring on the questions!

thanks for looking everyone!

please pm and or send any questions or offers etc to my email Jonesjm@gmail.com

I just replaced the headlights in my '82 with a set of Hella H4 "vision plus". Now all I have to do is replace the bulbs from now on!!!!!!
There's a remarkable difference in the aesthetics and performance of these lights. Much more useable light on the road and the brights just light up the dark road ahead - all within DOT!!!!!

I bought 'em from www.rallylights.com they're the 200mm square "vision plus" lights, under the "conversion lights" section http://www.rallylights.com/hella/200mm.asp ----Highly recommended.

Cheers,
Michael

Need parts...

I'm looking for some misc. interior parts window crank handles, door panels, rear deck, wiring harness coming from the ignition switch on the column. Also looking for front left fender. I fried the Escort so the project is going to be a daily driver. If anyone has any other part lying around hit me up. Thanks...

There is a red, what I think is an '81 Prelude in the Pull-a-Part wrecking yard in Tacoma. It's pretty damn clean, and I might be up there pulling the tranny to get to the flywheel. It's a 5speed, and there are lots of good interior parts, in-fact the whole car is in pretty damn good shape. Sad to see it in the yard, but I'd like to get what I can off of it for you guys while I'm pulling stuff. So if we can get a small list, I can snag a few parts. I don't think I'll have time to dive terribly deep, but fenders, trim, gauges, I might just snag for shits and giggles. Lemme know if anybody wants anything, and I'll see what I can do.

I'm assuming that since it's in Tacoma, it's probably a EK car. But if by chance it's got the EL I'd be in the market for the head/intake/exhaust manifolds....

I'll snag the rear deck assy, and the speaker grilles. And I know it's an EK, because I saw the nest of vacuum lines last time I was up there.
