H22 swap in 87 2.0 si transmission question

I'm looking into dropping a h22a1 from like a mid 90s prelude into mine wondering if I can take the easy way and just bolt my tranny onto the new engine. Like will my stock 87 transmission line up with a h22?? Or will I have to get one that's got a tranny already on It..

No - the transmission in your car will not bolt onto a H22 motor.

read this and read your other id say timing belt...maybe injector..u could try swapping the one that worked with one that doesnt and see what happens ..dont cost nothing...or even easier, top of the enging we gotta plastic upper timing belt cover..pull that back a little til you can see the belt and have some one try to start car..if that belt doesnt move your timing belt broke..mines done it twice..didnt u say it was cranking faster than normal when trying to start? thats a sign of timing belt
