hmm I predict you will soon be smelling welding. I like it. It smells like progress. Same for automotive body paint for me. Good luck with your builds, Dave.

Arrow

Unfortunately all I've been smelling the last few days is grinding dust from cutting and prepping all the pieces.

It doesn't look like much yet but this is ~10 hours of prep work:

And I still have some more to go!

---------------------------------------------
Buyers:

In initial post fitting info section I mentioned trimming a splash guard and exhaust bracket for clearance. I took some pictures today to clarify what needs to be done:

Here is the splash guard trimmed, the red highlighted section is where I cut with a razor. If this isn't removed then the arm can rub against it during suspension compression:

The red highlighted area is the part of the OE exhaust that I removed. TBH I took out more than needed and a half circle cut would be all that is needed for bar clearance:

Since many people probably have a custom exhaust you may want to check for clearance before you try and install the bar. Measure straight down 4.75" from the rear muffler exhaust hanger to see if you have room:

I believe the bars will be done and ready for heat treatment by the end of next weekend. I should be sending out stage 2 PM's this week.

Current status: Arms are completed, mounts about half done. I think I will be done with all fabrication by the end of the week. Pics:
