Intake Manifolds. What works?

OK I'm looking into upgrading my intake manifold.

So what have you guys tried out so far? What are our options?

Venom
Golden Eagle
OBX (Anyone tried this?)
What else?

Thanks guys.

It really depends on the type of power you're looking to make and if you're NA or boosted. My buddy runs the golden eagle in his H2B turbo ek and mad a pretty good gain.

^Agreed. Especially for your application with that greddy kit. Just remove the butterflys from the stock ones and your good to go.

My bad dude. I go to the new posts thing at the top and didn't read the section. Skunk2 isnt bad for boost. Golden eagle is expensive and I wouldnt bother with that unless you're looking to make big numbers.

i suggest stay away from obx intake manifolds. for the gains that you will see i suggest modding the stock one or getting a custom one. skunk 2 and euro r are ok but for the money you will spend i would rather spend it elsewhere, like on cams.

You may be able to, but that testing was done on a built h23vtec

I know this might be a little off topic. But is it possible to run itb's on a boosted car? The only way i see it is the charge piping breaks from one pipe to 4 and one of the pipes runs to the itb x4. Iv'e always just wondered that

yes it is possible. a nissan skyline gtr has this stock. the velocity stacks are encased in a plenum with an opening for a charge pipe to clamp on to.

and 1fast lude that is a good gain for a skunk 2 at 5.5psi.

ITB's work well at low boost numbers when fed by a custom plenum. It was found that at higher numbers its better to have a well designed manifold.

It was on honda-tech and somewhere quite a while back.
