What size tire would work best on a lowered 5th gen. I want to get the meatiest tire without having to rub/roll fenders.

Just a question, what's wrong with rolling or rubbing fenders? I had to do that with my wheels and it doesn't really effect the look or ride of the car

Just laziness. Really just don't want to mess with it. I am not really looking for hela flush either. Just want something wide that would fit the rim. I am a complete noob when it comes to tires.

Camber kit will fix most rubbing issues.

225 would fit but 215 will look better IMO. Also if you're wanting a "low profile" look or lowered i'd go with a 40 sidewall. Thats also my opinion tho. I have 215 45 17s and I kinda wish I woulda went with 40 because I plan to drop my car about 2"

215 40 17 is what im running and it looks good .. with 15 mm spaces i had to roll my quarters and relocate my bumper tabs .. without the 15 mm spacers i never rubbed without rolling the quarters ..

figured the 45 sidewall would help with bumps etc. I will only be lowered 1 to 1.5 inches.
