Here are some rules that we hope will make the Forsale/Wanted Sections run a bit smoother.

1. All members that post a forsale add must have at least 100 posts (this is mainly to prove you are not coming here just to sell) and be selling your own item. No posting for someone else to get around the 100 post count.

2. Please post a price for each item, if a price is not posted the thread will be deleted.

3. Post the location of the item(s) being sold.

4. No bashing or negativity of any kind in any thread. The person is trying to make a sell, don't steal it from them.

5. Dibs do matter.

6. Any and all threads that have not had a post in them for more then 30 days (31 days etc) will be deleted.

7. Bumps are ok, but please limit them to once every day or every other day.

8. When your item has sold, if when you have bought a item, please pm a mod and let them know so we can close the thread. Or type "SOLD" as the first word in the thread and bump it to the top so it can be closed.

9. When you buy or sell a item, please post in the member rating forum a feedback about the person.

10. Also not a rule, if you have a feedback thread in the Feedback forum, please link that thread to your sale item.

If you have any questions please pm me or another For Sale/Wanted forum mod.

Thank you

100 posts is a lil steep

ask someone that has been ripped off before, and see what they think.

i think it should be 200 posts, my post count rose up pretty quickly with just a few question's that i had.

it seem's like it's 1,000 posts you have to make, if you only answer questions v.s. asking honest questions for honest answers(seem's like half of the required 100 posts).

And whats the deal with not being able to see pics or links on a post until 10 posts are reached?

1. It's no one else's fault for getting ripped off, other than a buyer's. Let them learn a lesson on their own.

2. Post-limiting discourages individuals from advertising parts that some of the prelude-enthusiast members might need. So if the seller isn't a hardcore, internet forum junkie, then the site members shouldn't be allowed the opportunity to buy from them? It's practically a black market.

3. If you want to limit posts, you should do so in the Technical sections. In other words, limit the spreading of conversation where it might actually matter.

4. Why does this aggravate me? Because I have parts left over from two 1986 Prelude Si's, and with an 11 post count, I am unable to list them for sale. In order to sell, I have to make 89 "bullshit" posts, because I really have no interested in these cars anymore. So, rather than give this resourceful site's members a chance to get their hands on some decent, hard-to-find, 20+ year old parts, I am likely going to take them all to the junkyard. Congratulations, what a great idea.

I understand the post cap for sellers, but not for searchers.
I wanted to post that I'm looking for a 5gen in the southwest, but I can't do that because of the cap. Of course I could just spam around a little bit in off topic to get the posts, but that wouldn't change the issue.

How many useful posts can I make if I don't even own a Prelude, huh?
Asking mods/Admin to think about some changes here....

Thx, Matt
